Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya wishes Happy New Year 2022.
For the past 20 years, the members of our youth organization Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya hold on New Year’s morning to a broom and shovel. Ridding the streets and squares of their hometowns by the remains of the nightly Sylvester festivities.
Finally, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “Allah is pleased with that person and rewards them who cares about the cleanliness of the streets.” (Muslim)
Also in 2019 are Ahmadi Muslims up early to do in the first place, the voluntary Tahajjud prayer in the last third of the night. They pray for a blessed year for mankind and for peace in the world. It follows a common breakfast and a short prelude to the “honorable work” (Waqar-e-Amal).
Here, the following verse of the Holy Quran is in the foreground: “Allah commands justice and selflessly doing good.” (16:91)
Accordingly, they do not expect any return for their work. So Allah urges Muslims strengthened this on to prove especially “the smallest services” of charity (107: 8). While Islam stresses the honoring of obligations towards the Creator, he pays special attention to the fulfillment of obligations (Huqúqu’lláh) towards His creation (Huquq ul-‘ibad).
More than 500 members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat participate in the annual New Year’s cleaning, which is performed at the same time in Belgium in almost all the 13 villages. Year after year, set the Ahmadi Muslims, especially the members of the youth organisation “Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya” thus a sign of civic engagement, helpfulness, and diligence and for the love of the homeland.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth in Belgium will start New Year with prayers and community action following the true teachings of Islam.
