Overview.
On the occasion of a Divine revelation, in 1891 Hazrat Ahmada declared himself being the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, whose arrival was predicted by The Holy Profetsa of Islam Mohammad and also in the writings of other religions. Us followers, we believe that, as the arrival of Eliasa was fulfilled in the person of John the Baptist, the second arrival of Jesus in a spiritual way, has been fulfilled by the arrival of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmada. Ahmadiyya Muslims are no fundamentalists or fanatics.
Our rule is: There is no force in religion.
Koran, 2:257
We only occupy ourselves with religion and not with politics (secular). We don’t want to impose anything to anyone, but we want to strive for peace and harmony amongst the people.
Our motto is: Love for all, hatred for none.
Our Motto
The community was founded in 1889 in Qadian (India) and has grown to be a dynamic power in de present world of different religions.
Our members: men, women and children have their own sub-organisations, classified according to age categories. Also, every member contributes a part of his or her income to funds of the community for local, national and international projects established by the community, such as for instance: the building of mosques and mission houses, educational institutions and hospitals, printing companies, literature, gatherings, etc.. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community provides information about Islam in many ways: among other things by means of his own TV channel (MTA) and literature in the local language. Our community has edited the translation of the Holy Coran in more than 58 languages. The Ahmadiyya Community has establishments spread over the entire world. In Belgium, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is active since 1982 and counts approximately 1800 members.
Our History
KHUDDAM-UL-AHMADIYYA (youth)
In the beginning of the year 1938, the second Caliph, Hadhrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad, established a youth organisation called Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya (men between 15 – 40 years of age).
The young Ahmadis, at all times, have been in service of humanity, have spread the message of Islam and have sacrificed their time, their life and their wealth, on a continual and voluntary basis.
In 1982, MKA Belgium was founded and in spite of the limited possibilities, has always been active to reinforce the community in the field of physical, mental and spiritual help.
MKA has a spiritual attitude, therefore, its goal is to educate khuddam, in such a way that they are able to fulfil their responsibilities and obligations towards God and humanity in a correct way and moreover, that they are always in service of mankind and nation. Furthermore, it is being strived that khudam are responsible and are an example in the community in the field of moral and religious values and that they develop a strong personality and that they always speak the truth.
